Gorgeous ice cream however I would say i was disappointed in the choice, no strawberry or chocolate ice cream when full of children was unusual. It was half term so had expected the animals to be out as that was half of the reason we went but, all we could see were cows a long distance away so the kids were disappointed. Cages were empty and seemed like everything was closed. Waited 30 minutes for ice cream and had to sit on a dirty table to eat them. But lovely staff.

The ice cream here is gorgeous, much nicer than similar places. We love taking the grandchildren and we also take Tupperware containers to fill so we can have it at home. It’s nice to see the animals and the kids always say thank you to the cows when we are leaving.

Visited her for slight lunch, panini, crisps and coffee. And followed it with the best ice cream ever!!! The venue is on a farm with cows. Outside seating only but it has a cover. Dog friendly. Worth a visit if only for the delicious ice cream

Introduced my visitors to Bury's not so hidden gem!
They were very impressed. Gorgeous ice cream at a very reasonable price.
My grandchildren were thrilled to see the cows goats and donkeys close up.
I would give this place 10 stars if I could.

The best course iv played. £10-£15 depending on numbers but what a course. Blown away by this gem. Should be proud of everything they have. I’m not afraid to say it but for hole by hole and value for money it’s the best course iv played.

I very rarely get to play - in fact, this was my second game in about 4 years! You don’t get any good at this game by doing that ..... and so it proved from my first shot to the last (although my practice remains spot on!).

The course itself is challenging, especially if you’ve not played it before. Several shots where you don’t know what’s over the hill and even the guide on the reverse of the scoring card doesn’t help entirely. It is hilly and quite tiring but the scenery is great.

You can get a quite standoffish attitude towards non-members at some clubs, but I found this club to be friendly. I eventually played round with George and Bob, as we got held up by a fourball in front of us - very pleasant gents.

Enjoyed my round, apart from my awful golf skills.
