The RNLI (The Royal National Lifeboat Institution) has saved over 140,000 lives since it was set up in 1824. SOS rescue boats and drivers act as a much needed safety net in case of an emergency - our seas would be much less safer without them!
Northern Devon Hallshare Forum, supported by NDVS, North Devon Council and Devon Communities together, are encouraging Village Halls to take part in an event month (April ’15) that celebrate Village Halls in the Community. Come and be.

Here are a few ideas on how you can recycle your real Christmas tree in Barnstaple and North Devon and keep it from going to overflowing landfills. Fake Christmas trees are unable to be recycled, as such, although you could donate them to local charities!
