Absolutely fantastic place, atmosphere very comfortable, staff very polite and friendly, food out of this world. Food arrived at table hot and looked delicious as well as tasting absolutely scrumptious. Would we go again? - Oh yes definitely we are already talking about going again next week. If I could give a rating out of 10 I would rate it 20/10. If you haven't been, what are you waiting for? Get yourself there ASAP you are certainly missing out on a great experience.

Fab as always lovely staff, great service. Lovely food, good choice of food and good value. We had cod and chips meal. Fab hot choco drink. Xmas menu looked nice with food on other tables.

If you are looking for good value fish and chips this really isn't the place for you.
We paid almost £29.00 for fish, chips and peas and soft drinks for two.
The restaurant is very clean and well managed by friendly professional staff but the food given its hefty price really didn't live up to the setting.
We've eaten better fish and chips for about half the price!

We used the takeaway bit at the side, as the prices are considerably cheaper to take away than it was to sit in, which was very pricey tbh.
At the takeaway side we had excellent customer service, well nice chips and chicken nuggets . Prices seemed to be half of that if you decide to sit in .
My son was happier than a baboon that just won first prize at the baboon of the year awards .

We had booked to go to the octagon theatre and needed somewhere to eat prior to the show so having been here before we decided to try again. We weren’t disappointed. I had grilled plaice, it was super, while my wife had a steak pudding, again it was lovely.

This isn't just fish and Chips - this is Olympus fish and chips.... experience the difference never mind tast the difference was like dining at the savoy for service, 100% attentive staff. 100% spotlessly clean and pleasant and well though out dining areas, 100% fish,chips and pease like it used to taste like. Best fish and chips in the counrtry id say and I've travelled a lot.

I have been lunching at Olympus Bolton along with my sister each Wednesday since years before lockdown.
All the serving staff and those who take your order behind the counter, in particular Linda and also, a gentleman, I think his name is Ali, are excellent and always make us feel welcome. It is very nice when loyal custom is appreciated by the staff.
We order Fish & Chips (pensioner’s special) which is good value, plentiful and delicious. The restaurant is kept clean and tidy with a good hygiene value of 5. The owner Tasos keeps a VERY keen eye on everything ensuring the service he expects from the staff is upheld.
Would highly recommend, not only for lunch but afternoon tea is good as well.

Visited this restaurant as part of a coach trip to the area, about 25 of us in total. Immediately we arrived we were greeted by the two guys (I assume owners/managers) who made us feel incredibly welcome with their humour and verse. Venue was spotless and well kept, service was prompt and courteous.
The fish and chips were among the best have had, lovely white fish and just the right amount of batter. The chips were also excellent.
If anything, could have done with a few more chips (this is testament to how much I enjoyed them!) but this could have been to do with it been a "coach party" price, rather than if booked independently.
Would definitely come again if in the area.
PS upon leaving the restaurant, noticed a counter of delicious looking ice cream, so just sorry I didn't have enough time there to order some!

The staff at the ‘Olympus Fish and Chip Restaurant’ are always warm, welcoming and very helpful - nothing is ever too much trouble.
I had the Rag Pudding (traditional Lancashire dish) with chips and gravy. It arrived very quickly and was tasty.
Will definitely come here again.
