The location of the Last Drop Village prompted our stay as we had both known of the hotel when we lived in the North West. Unfortunately we were disappointed as we were hoping to have a luxury stay, unfortunately the hotel appeared to aim for the commercial and business events

Words cannot express how much we would recommend this place
From start to finish the staff went above and beyond to make the day special. Fantastic location and beautiful rooms and setting. The whole experience was top drawer. No wonder they have been voted the gest wedding venue. Well deserved

Had a NHS stay on a Sunday night. The hotel was busy. Room and food excellent and staff pleasant. Unbelievably good value at around 60£ for bed, breakfast, evening meal, spa and bar voucher ! We will definitely recommend and return.

Was really looking forward to celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary here however, as a whole it was a bit of a let down. Spa facilities would be more enjoyable if they were monitored and people didn't get rowdy and were allowed to constantly take photos and Snapchat. It really takes away from the experience. Nothing special about the infinity pool either. You literally look over a full car park and new build houses. Staff however are friendly and wonderful. I wouldn't say the romantic package we paid for was worth the money either. The hotel grounds and the building itself is actually beautiful.

Lovely hotel in an excellent location. Did not have breakfast but had dinner in the restaurant on two nights and the food was superb on both occasions. My one complaint is that the checking in system is chaotic. You are not allowed to check in before 2pm and by that time a long queue of guests waiting to check in had formed which got even longer over the next hour, at times stretching out the front door of reception.

The staff are amazing and nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was a good size, clean and comfortable. It was also lovely and warm unlike so many hotels. The main problem I had was in the bar area when ordering food. I waited over an hour for what turned out to be a dried out chicken burger. I suspect it had been forgotten about and left waiting to keep it warm. By the time it arrived I was too hungry to refuse it. I think the member of staff I spoke to about it should have offered a refund on the meal. The restaurant was great, and lunch in the lounge the next day was fab.

Loved the venue, despite new houses built up to the "infinity pool " omg what a joke. The steam room wasn't steaming and smelled of stinky feet, the other steamy room wasn't working either. The time slot we had for the infinity etc was a joke. Total free for all. Packed. Chaos. I gave up. I'd brought my daughter as a thank you and felt I'd let her down. The room was lovely although up 79 stairs! I'm disabled. The meal. Omg. The steak was MASSIVELY over salted. Sent back. I had cheese board instead. Daughter had garlic bread. No sustenance. The massage was ok just run of the mill. Won't be back

Beautiful stay with extremely friendly staff but unfortunately we had a few problems with left me and my partner feeling a little disappointed. First the lamps in our room didn’t work which didn’t really give the calming relaxing vibe we wanted in the evening/night time as it had to be the main light on or total darkness. By the time we realised this we didn’t see a point with raising it with reception as we was leaving the following morning and wanted to enjoy our night undisturbed.
We paid for the 50 min Swedish massage, mine was lovely, but very basic. My partner however felt like his was very underwhelming, he didn’t feel like the spa therapist listened to what he wanted and didn’t really put much effort into the experience and what he wanted to gain out of it :(
Car parking was a massive issue, not enough spaces, we had to park on the main road and walk up to the hotel a few times when we left the hotel and came back.
Was looking forward to my night in a hotel bed and a lie in, but was woken up at 8am by building works in the few rooms down from us, crashing and drilling so didn’t exactly feel satisfied with the quality of sleep which was annoying as you want a little slice of peace when you come away for a spa break….

Overall, average…won’t really be rushing back which is a massive shame
