I'm a student so I got in for £5/6 which is good value. WOuldnn't want to spend anymore. Nice gardens, plenty to see. Watermill is nice and the feel of the place is good.
Free electric car charge point if anyone is interested.

Went on a cloudy dry day. Enjoyed sections of the gardens and the interesting watermill. Nothing realy of interest and no activities for the children. We enjoyed coffee and lunch time baguettes and panins. Entrance fee aprox £10 depending on age.

Truly stunning scenery. Beautiful formal gardens and if you are looking for peace and quiet just wander into the woods and either amble along or take a seat and enjoy the views from numerous hidden spots along the way. I loved it so much I have been back 3 times in the last week. And as an extra treat don't miss the cakes in the cafe.

My husband and I have wanted to visit the Gardens for ages but decided we would make time on this trip to the West Country. It did not disappoint. Fabulous views and plenty of interest in the Autumn Gardens.

We chose a damp day to visit but that didn't distract from the beauty of everything. Slightly disappointed that we were obviously too early for the autumn colours despite it being halfway through October.
Lovingly restored gardens were a delight to walk around with the added bonus of being able to bring the family dog with us - top marks for making us feel welcome with him, thank you.
A very tasty lunch was had in the cafe but I would have like to have had a toasted sandwich without the obligatory salad and serving of rice (my husband ate those two offerings for me), but this meant that I'd paid about £6 just for a toasted sandwich. So maybe a simpler menu please?

If you like gardens you will like this one. Quite large and well worth a visit. Go and see the restoration that has taken place, set in the heart of the Somerset countryside.

Booked here for a 4 night stay whilst in the area. The hotel was very easy to find using the post code and is in a good location in the area.

First impressions is that the hotel looks a little dated, the check in process was nice and quick and a lot of information given regarding my stay.

The room was as described and as above, it is a little dated. One small minor issue is plug sockets available which are far and few between in the room. As I was staying for a week I do tend to bring along my laptop and other electrical devices that I do need to plug in. There was a double socket just above the desk but it was so close to the desk you couldn't actually plug anything in without either damaging the wire or leaving one of the three pins exposed which isn't exactly safe. However after speaking to reception they were happy to borrow me an extension for the week and did inform me that an revamp of the facilities is planned which will include USB ports bedside.

I dined in the bar/restraint each night and I can't credit the staff enough. Grace was nothing short of superb and delivered an excellent level of customer service. I was not waiting no more than 20 minutes between courses and the food was exceptional.

Breakfast was also very good and one of the perks of stopping at a Holiday Inn.

Overall a fantastic stay and I wouldn't have any qualms recommending or booking here in the future.

Thanks again to the team!

stopped here on a overnight stop too Scotland with shearings. hotel room ok . evening meal was chaos as 3 coaches arrived together so was a free for all . they should have staggered the meal times. breakfast was a bit better . would not stay here by choice . seems too me they just want as many as possible as quick as possible.

Check in was quick, no messing around. Nice staff, always willing to go the extra mile. Room was small but adequate enough, bathroom was again small but what was required with a powerful shower which always does it for me.

The hotel is in a great location, next door to the bus station and right near the shops. All in all a good stay, would definately use this hotel again.

We have used this hotel over the last 3years and we have always been impressed with the staff who are always friendly and very helpful. The breakfast is lovely with plenty of choices. The rooms are on occasion small but always comfortable. Not the best looking building from the outside but the inside and staff more than make up for that.
