This hotel is 15 minutes walk from the station. Although perfectly adequate there was a feeling that it had seem better days. The rooms are small but fine for an overnight stay. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

I had an excellent stay here, the staff were really friendly, nothing was too much trouble and the bedroom was immaculate. The breakfast buffet, although somewhat on the pricey side, was unlimited and delicious. The hotel is situated right next to the bus station which is great if you want to catch a bus towards Merseyside, Blackburn or Cumbria.
