Went to the spa booked a massage with the lovely Donna . Best massage I ever had . She was professional, friendly, gave great advice. Definitely recommend Donna as she makes you feel so relaxed and came away feeling amazing 😊

This is the 2nd time we have been to Last Drop and it definitely wont be the last. We had a great experience with time spent in the spa and then eating at The Drop Inn where we had brilliant service from Miller.
The last Drop team are wonderful and I would like to make a special shout out to Caitlin and Nathan on reception who went the extra mile to make our anniversary extra special. We arranged our stay via a Wowcher and upgraded the spa access but the experience was the same, if not better, than when we had paid full price on previous trips.

Stayed at this hotel as attending a wedding in the area. On the morning before setting off, called the hotel and asked for three fans to be put in the three rooms we had booked, was told this would be sorted. On arrival no fans in the room. Reception was called and they said this would be sorted. No fans arrived, so went to reception and asked in person, to be told they had none left. A few hours later two fans were dropped off in two of the rooms. Room was dated, bed was comfortable, but there was a small hole in the sheet. Bathroom needs a good clean and mould removing from the shower area.
First night had meals in the bar restaurant, food arrived in no sort of order, I had ordered pie and mash, everyone else was served, then pie and chips came out, the waitress did offer to take back and have the chips changed, but by this time most had nearly finished theirs.
Breakfast was fine, very standard. Asked for pot of tea for two people, came with one tea bag. But staff were helpful.
Had lunch at the clock bar, food was good, but very slow. There was a wedding on, so not sure if short on staff.
I have stayed in a lot of hotels, very reluctant to put things on our room number. If ordering drinks after hours, they do not ask you to sign anything, so was concerned that anyone could say your room number.
Used the spa area, pool nice size. Outside area not very relaxing as over looking the carpark. Hot pool is very hot, also over looking the carpark, and the back of peoples houses. Apparently, it use to have a view, but now in middle of a housing estate. Again, area needs a good clean as tile grout is mouldy. Thermal rooms were good, but one had a very unpleasant drain smell, tried on two separate days, but there was no improvement. Went swimming at 7.00 am one morning, lots of members using the pool for serious lane swimming. Made to feel in the way of their exercise routine.
Such a shame, as the village with its little shops, tea room, pottery painting is so nice. But a few things really let it down.

We appreciated the location of the hotel, its cleanliness and upbeat atmosphere. Design wise it was ok too. Theres plentyof parking and dog walk areas which is really helpful and generally the staff were pleasant and attentive. Sadly we foundourroom a little disappointing, paper thin walls, no coffee machine, and a slight musty smell… Also pizza at supper was the blandest ive ever eaten! Paid extra couple of pounds for mushrooms and olives and received probably one mushroom thinly sliced and 2 or 3 olives max sprinkled on top. But we were tired from travelling and had the impression they were maxed out with a wedding. Minor niggles really but they make the difference between a great stay and a mediocre one.

On the face of it a nice hotel but grubby in parts. Our room was in the Courtyard which is more ā€˜motel’ than’ hotel’. There are steps to the upper level of the Courtyard with no assistance with suitcases. The room was reasonable and the shower room very modern. Unfortunately, it was very difficult to adjust the water temperature to a comfortable level in the shower. Our room overlooked the ā€œDrop Innā€ and proved to be very noisy late at night. The hotel is a venue for weddings and guests were loitering outside after the evening session and were noisy. We stayed for three nights and our room was only cleaned once, after we drew this to the attention of the reception staff. Breakfast, which was a steep Ā£14.95 each (if booked the day before), was reasonable, although there was no cutlery or tea cups on our table so tea and breakfast arrived with nothing to consume them with! It was always very busy and, although doing their best, staff appeared to be struggling to keep up. No granola was available on our final morning. We experienced slow service in the restaurant for an evening meal. We felt it is an expensive hotel for what it is!

Friends and I enjoyed a wonderful Spa Package yesterday. All the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Special mention for Jane who did my facial and scrub. She was lovely. Thank you

Check where you are dining before booking, also take earplugs as usually weddings on. But if you are prepared a good stay

Went for a spa break over the bank holiday weekend in August. We arrived before 2pm so the room wasn't ready. We collected robes from reception and went to the pool and thermal suite. The locker wouldn't open as the bottom hinge had come loose. The thermal suite needs a refurb. It's a shame the pool overlooks the housing estate rather than the countryside. The treatment at the spa was good. Enjoyed the meal at the restaurant. The room was at the front above the the outside seating. People were outside talking loudly and moving furniture until the early hours which undid all the relaxation at the spa. Glad it was only one night. I had stayed previously in one of the courtyard rooms which was much quieter.

From checking in with Caitlin who was very knowledgeable and helpful even with a queue behind us to checking out I don’t have a bad word to say.
We stayed for our wedding anniversary ( room 80 ) which was amazing. The room was so big and inviting. We only wish we had booked 3 nights.
Olivia in the pub was a lovely way to start our overnight journey.
2 guys in the main bar Jake and Joe I think their names were just magic.
Star of the show for us both was Sue who was running the restaurant both at evening meal and morning after at breakfast, she got everything bang on as did chef with the most exquisite food served.
We didn’t use the spa but it looked beautiful.
We will be returning for definite
