We visited on Saturday 4 May. We arrived for our table booking at 7pm and the restaurant was already busy. There were lots of staff on hand. We were quickly shown to our table and given menus. Our poppadoms arrived before our drinks. The poppadoms were delicious. We ordered our mains and they were swiftly delivered. The food was delicious. We enjoyed our meal and would definitely visit again.

First visit last night.
Food excellent. Ambience excellent. Staff all delightful.
The mark down was because we were given the large menus to ponder then immediately given the poppadoms before we had a chance to peruse the menu. Made it very uncomfortable at that point and we felt rather rushed.

the rooms were immaculately clean. It was quiet and comfortable. the staff gave friendly helpful
service. My friends have not had much experience of Northern Warmth and were delighted
by the smiling friendliness of staff members.
We all enjoyed the top quality breakfast and the staff serving us were cheerful and helpful.

Stayed here due to its location next to the guild hall, was plesently surprised, we normally stay in the upmarket hotels (Hilton etc) this was just as good if not better than some of them.
The bar was a tad expensive but that's to be expected and the car park was full so we had to park in the nearby multistory.
The buffet breakfast was fantastic as was the price we paid
Only thing we didn't like was finding an unflushed toilet when we checked into our room!!!!

Stayed at the Holiday Inn last week. The hotel itself is OK, rooms are basic but fine. The food is OK but overpriced but that's the case with most similar hotels. The bar staff were great, Lee? And Lucianne i think their names were, were very good, helpful and pleasant though there seemed a lack of help/support from management that appeared to make their life harder which is a shame.
Overall I would stay again if I just needed somewhere for the night but the cost of the room and food don't represent value over a longer period. Also, the parking is beyond poor and people seem to resort to abandoning their cars or blocking others in due to lack of spaces.
