Went to this lively pub on Saturday night, it was very busy with sports fans, but we planned to eat early, and it was well worth it, food was excellent and plenty of it and not overly priced. Fish & Chips were large, and Enchilada's were excellent, nothing else required.

If you haven’t eaten the Sunday Lunch at the Doghouse you are missing out - big time! £10.95 gets you perfectly cooked beef, homemade Yorkshire Puddings, perfectly cooked veg and the MOST sublime gravy. Get there early because the demand is high and you really don’t want to miss out. Well done to Chris and his staff - 10/10 guys!

Was visiting a friend for the weekend and he took us here. Had a lovely dinner - food was superb. Duran Duran tribute band were excellent. And to top it off, the staff were great - all friendly and on the ball.....especially young Chris from Wigan - great banter and top service - he made our evening! Will definitely be back!!!

We went In on Monday for the Steak night since a few of our friends been talking about it for a while . The service/food was amazing . Our steaks wore cooked to perfection ( it’s a really hard thing in Gsy to get your steaks done as u ask ) and even brought out by the manager Dora ( I overheard one of the staff calling her ) very friendly and helpful.

After reading some of the HATERS or keyboard warriors as I call them , I wasn’t to keen on visiting the place but I’m glad we went ! Couldn’t fault nothing . As we came in the lady with glasses behind the bar gave us a warm welcome . Took us too a cosy room next to the bar really clean and all set up , straight away took our drink order , very professional I might say . I was really impressed!
Afterwards she took our food order . Then .. oh my god when the food came out was so well presented and really really tasty couldn’t fault it all . The service supplied and the food was all just to die for I would definitely go back might even go tonight .

We had vouchers from our hotel the Cobo Bay Hotel to use at option of 3 restaurant we picked the doghouse as we passed it a couple of time and food had good reviews.
Very pleasant helpful staff good service food arrived quickly and the Steak was amazing so tender and tasty Monday to Thursday is Steak night 2 for £25 highly recommend

I have been here a few times for food in the day and a few beers in the early evening and have always found the staff and regulars to be pretty friendly.
The food is your standard pub grub but done with care, beer is good with a nice selection and they have live music most weekends, id happily go back and most likely will.
