We visited on a Sunday evening. It appeared quiet but soon started to get busy at 8 pm prior to the live music. The menu is fairly short and limited but supplemented with specials. I had the duck confit with pay lentils which was delicious. My husband had the American burger which was enormous but equally delicious. The staff were friendly and service was good. Drinks were quite expensive though.

As it was a rainy Monday there were few other diners. The staff were welcoming. The choice was reasonable and when it came we both enjoyed our meals. The drinks choice was also good. From the adverts it seems that they have regular bands and special menus on most nights, just not Monday's.

We went here for a quick lunch. I was initially surprised as I expected a dirty grotty bar but it turned out to be lovely, clean and very friendly. The staff were very helpful and catered for our every request with a smile. The food was tasty although I did find it a little expensive given that it was pub food. Quite a pleasant experience overall

We had dinner there, we were a group of 12, we had one table and the service was excellent the food was excellent and more than enough for a large apatite the food was hot and the atmosphere was brilliant

We belong to the Inndulgence Club and this provides us with certain discounts. There is no need to book ahead and we have always been able to get a table even when they are really busy. The menu is always excellent and there are also specials for each day.
