Called in for a drink only. Very stylish place being part of 5 star hotel. Great choice of beers , gins ,whisky etc. Service very professional and beer prices in keeping with hotel status.
Would visit again just for the ambiance.

Enjoyed a fantastic luncheon at the Crown Club. The lobster and crayfish roll is a firm favourite of mine, enjoyed on the balcony, with a very cold Japanese lager

After a busy tour of the shops and a hike up the north face of Smith St a well deserved glass of Sauvignon Blanc is just what the doctor ordered, the best spot for the mentioned sustenance is located just through the blue door to the right of the War Memorial, a visit to Harrys bar will repair one's fortitude to be able to face the walk up the grange.
The Elephant repellant obviously works as I've seen very few in St Peter Port at this time of year.

Very knowledgeable staff which made the gin tasting even more interesting. Picked up some tips to try at home and a new gin. The gin passport is such a good idea.

Often visit the Crown Club for business meetings during the day. Very courteous service and coffee is always top notch. In the evening the Crown Club becomes a cosy cocktail bar with a great selection of aperitif's. Extensive gin menu including local artisan gins and always a very welcoming feel to the bar, with again great service. Not the cheapest but a great romantic venue for two or with friends to start or end your evening.

The Crown Club is my favourite place to spend a lazy Saturday. The staff are always lovely and really go out of their way to make you comfortable.
It has such a relaxed atmosphere and you know you're going to be looked after very well. It's suitable to go for a quick lunch, or as I like to do, go for lunch then chill out for the rest of the day/evening with wine and some nibbles.
The lobster roll and CLT (crab, lettuce and tomato) are highly recommended. It might seem expensive, however the sandwiches are packed full, you get a really decent side salad and also a large amount of fries - you won't go home hungry!
The staff are professional but also really friendly - always happy to have a chat.
I'm looking forward to my next lazy Saturday here!

We called in here late afternoon to sample a few cocktails. The bar is extensive but very plush with the waiting staff very elegantly and smartly attired. There are one or two cosy and intimate "snug" type nooks and crannies. There is a lengthy cocktail menu together with a speciality gin menu including several unusual types. The drinks are not cheap but that is to be expected at The Old Government House Hotel in Guernsey. Drinks are accompanied by cocktail snacks which are regularly replaced and replenished and the waiting service was high quality.

Great place for drinks at any time of the day. Cosy snug bar and warming fire. Summer terrace overlooking the pool. Try the gin passport and work your way through a list of gins before claiming your free bottle of gin. Handy location. Great for couples, friends and there is even space for business meetings
