Local engineering consultancy firm Babbé McCathie has appointed Gary Bougourd, formerly a senior engineering technician, as technical director of the company.
The Guernsey Arts Commission has budgeted £10,000 to support emerging bands and music groups. Interested groups can apply for a £1,000 grant to develop their careers, to pay for promotion, gig expenses, studio time or CD pressing.
