I would highly recommend Binney and Sims Ltd. to anyone considering a home improvement project. Our house is a very unusual shape and we were having difficulty imaging building designs that would make the best use of the space available and give us the additional rooms that we needed. Katie and the team were extremely creative and offered a number of solutions that we had not even considered. I particularly liked how the team spent time listening to what we wanted to achieve and used this as the starting point for planning the proposed design rather than offering a standard 'off the shelf' approach to development. They also suggested some great ideas for the project that we didn't know about which would give the finished design a unique touch. The team offered an excellent level of service and expertise with a very human touch which is essential in planning your future home.

We used Binney and Sims on a design only basis to help us with the layout of our home following a garage conversion, the addition of a porch and a knock through between the kitchen and dining room. Katie's ideas helped us to achieve a functional and bright family home with a new utility room and office. We also used Binney and Sims to do our structural engineering, and their advice on builders and building regulations was invaluable. Would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

We used Binney and Sims Ltd to undertake a ground floor reconfiguration with the addition of a large extension on the back to generate an open plan kitchen dining area. We found them very knowledgeable and helpful in taking our simple goal and bringing it to life. From there they helped us refine the details to our liking and ultimately provided the necessary building drawings so this dream could be realised. We are extremely happy with the quality of service and the fixed price arrangement.

We are really happy with our new kitchen and utility, designed by katie from Binney and Sims. It has changed the house completely and the way we live as a family. Katie was great at explaining the steps and how the process would work, which was really useful for us as we had no idea where to start! We had a very polite and friendly chat on our first phone call which resulted in follow up visits to our property.
The visits were equally as friendly and each of the team members portrayed commitment and enthusiasm in all they did.
During the visits the whole process of getting an ‘extension built’ was explained, including the legal bits. We were extremely pleased with all the work they did for us, including the extra help they gave us, and we would not hesitate in recommending them to others.
