Abingdon Air and Country Show is one of the highlights of the year and always a great day out for all the family. There really is always something for everyone – whatever their age. The event is one of the largest charity events run entirely by volunteers and is proud to be a major fund raiser for local causes – in particular the Thames Valley Air Ambulance Trust.

The Railway Inn
The Railway Inn at Culham is a hidden secret just off the A415 to Dorchester from Abingdon (not actually in Culham village), It's a welcoming and cosy traditional English pub offering hearty and traditional home-cooked food and great Bed and Breakfast accommodation.
The food is excellent (always!). Always very friendly. It's our favourite place to eat.

I was struggling to find anyone to attend to our broken down boiler with just 4 days to go until Christmas when Helen at 'the best of Abingdon' recommended ADR Plumbing & Heating. Tony squeezed us into his schedule and quickly diagnosed the problem as a faulty circuit board which he promptly fixed. Tony kindly offered advice on the general condition of the boiler and worked in a tidy and very professional manner. I would not hesitate to have him back and would be happy to recommend him.

In April 2014 the business was taken over and totally re-vamped by Lynn and Steve, who together have over 33 years experience in the garage business. The garage now offers one of the most comprehensive array of services in the region.
My friend recommended this garage after another garage failed to sort out a problem with my car. I'm so glad I tried them - Steve was brilliant!
