This weeks news has been talking about people dressed as clowns terrorizing locals. Lots of people complaining in Facebook groups and warnings going out to say “If I catch you I will….” Though I don’t condone this activity I certainly don’t agree with beating the living daylights out of someone for their actions. I would however be in favour of them getting a good tazer shock and a night in the cells! Lets see if you still have your clown smile on after that…

Please remember if you do see someone acting suspiciously at anytime it is best to call 999 if there is an immanent threat to a person or 101 if it is just mischief. Sussex and Eastbourne police are active on social media but can't deal with reports there. Follow Eastbourne Police on Twitter for updates.

On a happier note we are looking to help all organisers of events (paid or otherwise) to add their Halloween events to our event page! If you are one of the people not keen on having people knocking on your door for trick or treat you can download the A4 image and print it out to put in your window or on the door to explain you don’t want trick or treaters.
