	Hi I hope your August is going well so far, I cannot believe we're already over half way through the month. Have you had chance to take a holiday yet this year? Many have taken long weekends away from work and stayed local, but used the time to enjoy days out with the family. There's certainly plenty to do locally, we really do harness the holiday spirit here and head straight to the beach from the office!! Don't forget that in less than two weeks time, there's the bank holiday 27- 29th August. We've been thinking a lot about the questions we ask in business and wondering how many of us take the opportunity to ask them when required. There are many reasons and benefits to asking questions, but we don’t always do it. For example, how often do you ask for a testimonial from a customer? Or, if a client gives you positive feedback or you’ve resolved an issue to their satisfaction, how often do you ask who they know that would also benefit from your service or product? We know from attending networking events on a regular basis that 'Questions are Key'. At any networking events we can expect better referrals when we're specific about what we're looking for. We're well practiced at this, but are you also seeing the benefit of this on LinkedIn? This is a great place to ask questions. Think of this platform as a 24/7 group of like-minded business owners that get to know pretty easily. However, it's also highly beneficial to tap into those contacts and former colleagues you already know. It's certainly something you'd do at a networking event, so our tip today is… ask questions on LinkedIn and begin to benefit from the information that others will be keen to share with you.
