This special concert for St. Valentine's Day will include romantic music from two different eras. It begins with rarely heard music from the eighteenth century, by the Scottish composer James Oswald. Appropriately for Valentine's Day the programme will include his charming song collection "Colin's Kisses" Moving forward in time, and with a change in musical style, the second half of the programme features a medley of popular and romantic songs from the musicals of George Gershwin.
