Lichfield will soon be twinkling with the switch on of the Christmas lights this weekend.

So come down early and take advantage of some Sunday shopping, have a late lunch and then head down to Market Square for 'live' music, carol singing, a visit from the cast of Jack & the Beanstalk and the grand switch on at 5pm!

Santa and his helpers will be outside the Guildhall and will give you a wave from the stage just before 5pm, before he starts his journey around Lichfield on Tuesday 1st December with his merry helpers from Lichfield Round Table.

First stop Longdon & Kings Bromley we'll keep you posted every night on Twitter as to where Santa will be so make sure you follow us.He will be visiting all over the Lichfield District right up until 23rd December. So if you spot him please give generously as ll money raised goes to local Lichfield good causes.
