The Shop Tattoo Studio

I visited the The Shop Tattoo Studio just before Christmas 2014. I had decided that i would like a new tattoo - about 20 years after having my first! I decided though to see if my original one could be refreshed first as it had become very soft due to it's age and the style of the design. It is quite a complicated Celtic knot design, but I have to say that Joe did an excellent job. I had found an illustration of the design on the internet, and Joe painstakingly re-drew all the design and completed it bit by bit. I am really pleased with it. For my second tattoo I took some of my ideas to Joe - basically I wanted my birth sign (Capricorn) and other 'winter' symbols such as snowflakes and snowdrops. Whilst I was at the studio, i looked through some of the MANY reference books they have there, and found the Cicely May Barker's Flower faeries. I have always loved these and so i left it with Joe to draw me up a design around these ideas. I am so pleased with my tattoo, it is really lovely. Joe was able to complete it all in one sitting. I have had many compliments on it. I would highly recommend The Shop to anyone wanting a high quality artistic tattoo.
