Have fun, get fit and support a great local charity all at the same time on Sunday – what’s not to like? The Saltwater Splash on Sunday is a sponsored sea swim with all money raised goingto the Martlets Hospice. It’s starting at Yellowave near Peter Pan’s playground, and you can swim one or two laps of the 750m course. It’s £30 to take part and you’re asked to raise at least £100 in sponsorship. The Brighton Tap Dance Festival starts on Bank Holiday Monday (August 31) and runs until Sept 2. Organisers say it’s the UK’s first ever international tap dance festival. There are classes of dancers of all standard, from never-done-it-before to professional.
