	Hi If you're not into food I should stay well away from Lichfield this weekend. In it's 4th year the Lichfield Food Festival will be taking over the City for the Bank Holiday Saturday & Sunday. There will be cookery demonstrations taking place in the Lichfield Garrick and Lichfield Cathedral. Don't miss TV Chef Mal Harradine showcasing his favourite kitchen gadgets at The Kitchen Shop & The George Hotel. You will walk along Bird Street with your mouths watering as the restaurants & retailers showcase their favourite dishes. There's even a festival 'Cocktail of the Day' being served at Le Reve! If you're not frightened of a 'soggy bottom' don't miss the Lichfield Bake Off with CakeyDora on Sunday 30th. There will be independent food retailers in Market St, Conduit St, Dam St, Cathedral Close & the Three Spires shopping area. Don't miss the special offers, street entertainment, jazz bands and all that is to offer at this years Lichfield Food Festival. But that's not all on Monday 31st don't miss the Pool House Veterinary Open/Family day at their animal hospital right here in Lichfield. The children will love a tour of the hospital, discovering all about hedgehogs, there will be birds of prey, visits from the Greyhound Society, Cats Protection & the Brooke Charity. There will be plenty of entertainment with bouncy castles, face painting with a hog roast and refreshments a true family day out.
