Leah's Fitness Fiesta
For the second year running we will be raising money for Leah's Wish who support Cystic Fibrosis Trust, JR Children's Hospital and Helen & Douglas House. It will be a day filled with family fun where we will offer 30 minute sessions of a huge variety classes including dance classes, martial arts tasters, burlesque and family fitness! It is just a minimum of £5 for the day, there will be a huge cake sale, an amazing raffle and beauty treatments at hugely discounted prices! A day not to be missed!!

Salters Steamers have been running both scheduled services and short boat trips from Oxford and Abingdon for over 100 years and are an established part of the Thames traffic in Oxfordshire in the high season. If a half day's excursion is what is required, Salter's short boat trips to Culham Lock and back might fit the bill.

Kennington Osteopathic Practice
The Kennington Osteopathic Practice is dedicated to helping patients with all types of pain. The practice offers daytime and evening osteopathy, a new sports injury and sports massage clinic and also morning and evening Pilates classes. Owned and run by osteopath Sophie Jones, this Abingdon area clinic also has free parking.
I went in for a consultation after developing lower back muscular problems. Sophie was excellent, taking me through various exercises to help prevent future recurrences. Definitely recommended.

The Plough Inn at Appleton, just outside Abingdon, offers all the very best in a traditional village pub - hearty home-cooked food, excellent ales and a friendly local atmosphere.
We have been spending the winter in the UK from France where we live most of our time. We had a Groupon coupon from our daughter and were delighted with the welcome and the food at The Plough. More people should do it!!
