Kennel Cough Vaccinations at Clent Hills Vets

Vets warn Bromsgrove dog owners of ‘Canine Cough’
Owners who take their dogs on walks in local parks and on public paths in the Bromsgrove area are being advised to talk to their vets about vaccination for infectious bronchitis traditionally referred to as kennel cough.
‘Canine cough’ or kennel cough is easily transmitted wherever dogs socialise. Symptoms range from a loud hacking cough, sneezing and nasal discharge through to more serious infections such as pneumonia. The disease can be spread through simple nose to nose contact. If dogs become infected it is distressing for them and for their owners and may require prolonged and expensive treatment for the more serious cases.
Clent Hills Vet Group is offering the kennel cough vaccination for the reduced price of just £15 during April and May (normally £26). Please contact the team at Clent Hills Vets to book an appointment or if you would like any further information.
