I hope you enjoyed the bank holiday weekend as much as I did, and maybe a week off with the kids during their half term. I love half term holidays - no traffic!
As soon as summer approaches, our events section on The Bestof website fills up and so please take a look at all the forthcoming local attractions taking place by clicking on the 'local events' tab at the top of this newsletter.
The Corby Walking Festival is still in full swing until the end of the month. Kibfest, (Kibworth's Family Music Festival) is coming up on Saturday 6th June, before the very popular 'Wistow Music in the Park' event follows on Saturday 13th June. Then, Fernie Country Fair at Great Bowden is also just a couple of weeks away on Sunday June 14th.
We'll be getting out the strawberries and cream at Wimbledon soon!
If you love your animals, you really should go along to Suzy's Charity Dog Show on 7th June at Harborough Leisure Centre (outside). It's a great day out for all the family and please read our blog post about Grrs2Purrs brilliant support of The Leicester Animal Aids Centre and how you can help them with their urgent project to create a much needed grooming facility for rescued dogs and cats.

Grr's Great Grooming Company is an outstanding dog grooming and pet supplies company with an additional dog walking service operating from its Tur Langton and Desborough salons in the Market Harborough region of Leicestershire.
I attended the 2 hour Grooming training at Grrs Great Grooming Company at Desborough with my puppy Finn. Through Frans thorough guidance and training, I learned how to wash, dry,use hairdryer, clip toenails and do a health check.
I found the training facilitated by Fran and Kath very informative and enjoyable. Finn absolutely enjoyed the experience and I also.
From this enjoyable experience, I have booked in to attend a 1_1 training day to learn more.
I would highly recommend Grrs 2 Purrs Pet Services and I am looking forward to the next training day .
