Well here's to yet another bank holiday weekend! So what have you got planned? There's certainly plenty going on for all the family as you'll see when you click the 'events' tab at the top of this newsletter.
I won't be so bold as to arrange your weekend like I did last week (too many choices!), but let me highlight a few events I think you'd be 'CRAAAAZY' to miss!
For example, there are a few festivals going on - one involves walking (Corby Walking Festival, launching on Monday with a great family fun day at East Carlton Park, and then a series of fantastic challenging walks throughout the week) and one involves drinking (Ciderhouse Rules - an opportunity to try out a great selection of different ciders and beers - starting on Friday). Which are you more suited to? You've also got 'The Festival of Country Life' at Lamport Hall - a promising family weekend of Craft stalls, Antiques stalls, Food Hall, Refreshments and Entertainment Displays.
There's always fun, shopping and great food at the Wistow Rural Centre, set in fabulous surroundings (great for walkers). The garden centre there is one of the finest in the region and well worth a visit.
If you want to venture a bit further, the highly popular 'Burghley Game & Country Fair' is on this weekend (Sun & Monday) in Stamford.
Then of course there's all the car boots attracting buyers, sellers and wheeler dealers from all over the region.

For those who attended The Everest Dine Nepalese Fund Raising Event in Kettering on Tuesday night, thank you for your support. As a group, the company has raised nearly £30,000 from their 5 events - very commendable effort - every penny of which will go direct to the Nepalese Earthquake disaster fund. We were all treated to a great selection of fantastic authentic Nepalese food throughout the evening in between auctions and raffles and very friendly hospitality.

I attended the 2 hour Grooming training at Grrs Great Grooming Company at Desborough with my puppy Finn. Through Frans thorough guidance and training, I learned how to wash, dry,use hairdryer, clip toenails and do a health check.
I found the training facilitated by Fran and Kath very informative and enjoyable. Finn absolutely enjoyed the experience and I also.
From this enjoyable experience, I have booked in to attend a 1_1 training day to learn more.
I would highly recommend Grrs 2 Purrs Pet Services and I am looking forward to the next training day .
