Stayed one night on way to Scotland. Lovely hotel. Had room 327 which overlooked the pitch - very comfortable and would recommend. 5 minutes walk to shops and restaurants. Would like to return for a match if our team is drawn against Bolton!

We have visited this hotel regularly since it first opened twenty years ago as we have a son who lives near by. Both under previous and current owners we have found both the service and accommodation standards at this hotel to be very good and this is why we like to book there. Food and drink can be a bit prices but there are alternatives close at hand which serve good food at reasonable prices. The hotel itself is beside the Middlebrook Retail park so there are plenty opportunities for retail therapy. It is also close to M62 motorway and only a 20 minute drive to the Trafford centre and Manchester. Good value for money especially if you con find a deal as all the rooms are comfortable. It also has a good leisure pool area with a pool, steam room, sauna, jacuzzi and gym

All staff where professional polite and friendly the receptionist was very nice to deal with Fabulous room good size comfy bed very clean would love to stay again one of the best hotels I have stayed in

Spent the afternoon here as I had family visiting the hotel the place was quiet as it was a Sunday the lounge area was nice, needs some updating the same with the rooms they were OK for a 4* hotel we ate in the bistro as there restaurant was closed the food came nicely presented again nothing to special for a 4* star hotel the staff were friendly and helpful " would I go back well the answer would have to be no" it wasn't worth the money, the place needs updating they need to spend some money on it.

Good hotel, lots of services nearby with the retail park next door and good transport links if you are driving. The decor is a bit dated but the hotel is very clean and has good wifi and other services. Probably the best hotel in the Bolton area.

all staff very friendly , room clean functional and comfortable. the bar and restaurant manager was top. as were his staff.. the hotel was ideally situated for my Scottish guests who arrived by car, the food especially the breakfast was the best my guests had ever had. . the hotel was very service based. 2 friends tried the hair salon and fitness centre and said they were both great. everyone wished they could have stayed longer, but will return

Hotel is great , staff really nice , food reasonable and really good , room where clean an tended to my house keeping daily , some room views overlooking the pitch as attached to the macron , breakfast of a morning great also

Wanted somewhere to stay with my son whilst visiting my daughter in University. Reception staff were warm and welcoming. Rooms were lovely and clean . IPlanning to stay there again in June and probably quite a few times over the next couple of years.

We had a lovely 4 night stay here, it was necessary because of house refurbishments. All the staff are excellent and very friendly. We didn't have dinner here but the breakfast was great. We had a slight problem with the TV, which couldn't be fixed there and then so we were given an upgrade for our next nights stay. I would stay here again.

Stay on business here quite often. Rooms are of a decent standard, are spacious, always clean and have plenty of storage space.
Staff are mostly polite and helpful. Food is above average, although if i were paying for it myself perhaps a little on the expensive side. Good breakfast selection. Compared to other hotels in the area Whites is possibly the best option.
