Stayed here for a wedding, and was pleasantly surprised by both the quality of the hotel (rooms and breakfast), and the friendliness of the staff. The only issue came at check in as the hotel failed to account for 100 people checking in at once. (Staff shortages we were told). The staff that did help us were efficient and friendly.

Stayed here for 3 nights for a work training course and it was lovely. Good facilities for guests (swimming pool) lovely clean rooms, reasonably spacious, nice freebies (shower gel, shampoo etc) and a free bottle of water each day. Staff are helpful and friendly and food at the hotel was lovely. Room service was very quick if you're peckish at night (There is a limited menu for room service after 11pm)
Some rooms have a pitch view!

Have attended several conferences here little confusing as whilst the hotel address is given many of the conference facilities are accessed via the reception for the stadium, I personally find car park C well situated and free parking with just a short walk to the venue. They have many varied size rooms and cater for most events, easy motorway access. The staff are helpful and friendly and there is lift access as well as stairs. The food is always very nice, overall good venue.

We had our annual conference here and it was far from seamless.

The hotel itself is spotlessly clean and the staff attentive.

The rooms were well presented and you couldn't ask for more.

The conference was one of our best but was marred by the venue. On day one they ran out of food in the buffet. Staff were like rabbits caught in headlights. The left hand really didn't know what the right was doing. Many delegates were left without food at lunch time.

Dinner arrived and to say the least it was poor. the service was slow and sporadic and the food was either cold, dried out or both. This was saved by the Tesco next door where people who hadn't eaten at lunch time went to get some food.

All in all not great

I stayed at Bolton Whites with my Mum for one night. The hotel was clean, comfortable and served a first-class breakfast. The highlight for us was the staff team. In the evening the bar and waiting staff member was professional and courteous. He, and other staff, at breakfast were equally welcoming and helpful. We really felt at home. If I could have improved anything I would have liked a feather pillow!

You get what you pay for Rooms over looking pitch quiet easy access Booked for all in wedding venue ( did throw wedding cake out with rubbish and didn't seem bothered about it) staff a little up themselves ( but think this is how they are trained) overall not a bad if a bit over the top on bar/restaurant prices

Stayed for 2 nights for a conference. The hotel is very smart, and I had a room overlooking the pitch. The staff were polite and efficient. The conference facilities were very good, again overlooking the pitch. Lunch was of very good quality, both hot and cold. I would recommend it for the conference package, very reasonably priced. Shame about the football though.

We visited here for drinks. The service was very nice, they had a decent selection of teas. The place was clean and there isn't really much to pick on. The sofas were a little bit deflated/hard. Apart from that everything in the bar was nothing above normal.

Just returned from a wonderful overnight stay and words could not express the exceptional service, restaurant, room and bar facilities. I especially enjoyed the lovely view from the French doors in the room overlooking the football pitch framed by the magnificence of the stadium. The "i's" were definitely dotted and the "t's" crossed eloquently !

Stayed here as part of a National Holidays trip to the rugby superleague final. We arrived around 9:45 at night, the welcome was very good, food was still available and the bar was open late. We had a penthouse suite on the 6th floor which was fantastic especially as it was part of our weekend away for £89 each!! The suite had two separate bedrooms with sofa beds already made up for our teenage son, a very comfy bed with plenty of pillows. The bathroom was amazing! Both bath and shower and double sinks and a bidet!! We were over the moon with it and wished we could have stayed longer. In the morning we had a buffet style breakfast with plenty to choose from including cereal, pastries, yoghurt, fruit juice, full cooked breakfast. All cooked to perfection and fresh and hot. The staff were all very friendly and the atmosphere at the hotel was fantastic. The staff seemed genuinely happy to be at work which you dont always find. Also the lady who seemed to be in charge the previous evening and over breakfast was lovely and also got stuck in with the staff. The hotel is very impressive, also spotless and there are some lovely views over the football pitch. In fact I would go so far as to say it is the best hotel we have stayed in. Loved it!!
