this hotel looks like it should be more expensive. It's built into the Macron Football stadium but isn't dominated it. As a new hotel everything works, is clean and nicely designed. There are plenty of places to break out and meet people or simply sit and relax without having to hide away in your room. The rooms are pretty good and better than say Premier Inn. This was a second visit and it was bit disappointing to find most of the restaurant shut, but still had a very nice meal sitting in the large bar area.

This is a hotel where you can combine business and a short break. The rooms are comfortable and clean but the breakfast selection a bit poor. The staff is polite and helpful but the wi fi is lost on the upper floors.

Just back from this hotel and I couldn't rate it highly enough! The staff were brilliant, professional and friendly, the rooms were lovely and the facilities great too!
The only negative was the fact the lights and tv kept switching off in the room and there was a plug in heater instead of using the actual radiators. It's minor things really since we weren't in the room much. The location was ideal! We paid £88 for 2 nights over a weekend and were very impressed. I will definitely be back again later in the year :)

My partner and i have just stayed at this hotel for a night. We were looked after extremely well, especially by Liam who works on the front desk, he made our stay absolutely wonderful and could not do enough for us. I am very ill and he went out of his way to look after us, that extra mile, thank you Liam.
The hotel itself is lovely and we had a great breakfast too. We used the spa facilities, i really enjoyed that. I would definitely recommend a stay here, you wont be disappointed !

I have stayed here a couple of times for work and felt very comfortable. Staff are excellent attentive, friendly and professional. Food from Bar menu and breakfast both very good. Rooms clean and warm, bathrooms clean and functional. Plus you can take a 5min walk around the back to the Retail Park for some late night shopping, plus a number of restaurants make a great alternative to the hotel restaurant if you fancy a change.

I stayed at this hotel on a Saturday night for one night having booked it fairly late through booking.com. Upon arrival there were plenty of places to park and the hotel did not look busy. The room was well clean and laid out with comfortable bed. There was also adequate working space should you need to work. I would prefer to have the television wall mounted as this would give more space in the room and free up the two tables that the television was sat on in the room but otherwise found it to be OK. The bathroom was clean and adequate for the overnight stay. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel was good value for money and I would certainly look to stay there again if I'm in the area in the future.

Stayed here as an alternative to much pricier Manchester hotels for a gig and visit. The rooms are fine, clean and well appointed. Pillows a bit hard for my liking but loved the mirror de-mister in the bathroom. Didn't eat here so can't comment on the food. Fitness centre has a pool, slightly odd egg-timer shaped, and steam room and sauna. Apart from the noise from the wedding party one night the stay was perfectly fine and I'd certainly start here again.

We had a lovely break here after Christmas. The hotel is clean and spacious. Room was clean and tidy. The heating was good which we needed after a walk round the shops adjacent to the hotel. We had a lovely meal at Bella Italia which is a few minutes walk away. I would recommend this hotel to others.

It was my sisters wedding night and I'd recommended this hotel. They were very disappointed , there was no bottled water in the room and the wifi didn't work. They said they were having trouble with it but no apology . They knew it was there wedding night......just a little thought and care would have made such a difference .

We used to live in the Bolton area, so staying at the Bolton Whites Hotel was something we had never really thought about. However, we no longer live in the area so when a significant birthday event came up we decided we would give it a try.

From the moment we arrived we were made welcome, the reception staff were very helpful, explain some of the facilities and the quirky floor/room numbering, which proved very practical indeed. Rooms on the 2nd floor include rooms starting with both 200 and 300. On exiting the lift you need to go downstairs at the side of the lift, half a floor to get to the rooms starting 200.

The rooms themselves are small but well appointed, with a drawer in the wardrobe containing coffee and tea facilities. The bathrooms are also on the small side but effective, containing a shower over the bath.

The hotel has its own leisure facility containing a swimming pool and gymnasium. You have to get a code to get in from reception though.

Over the weekend a football match between Bolton and Watford took place and the hotel cark is used by visiting fans. Access was straight-forwards as we just informed the car park attendants we were staying at the hotel and they checked their list.

During this football match the accessing the hotel itself also requires you to pass security members, I include these guys in the friendly staff attitude as they were laughing and joking with us but also doing their job effectively, what a refreshing change.

The bar area is quite large and comfortable and despite the match we had no trouble finding somewhere to sit.

I was really pleasantly surprised by this hotel, it was not what I expected and despite being part of the Bolton Wanderers Football Ground it has its own identity and the staff make this a reality.
