This a lovely venue with very enthusiastic, friendly staff, many of whom are volunteers. The programme is very varied, with musicals, drama, dance, talks, comedians, pantomimes, etc. There are two theatres - a larger auditorium and more intimate studio theatre. The studio doubles as a cinema, showing live streams from the National Theatre and Covent Garden.<br>Downside - parking is in the local multi-storey and is not cheap! The bar is also extortionately expensive - expect hotel prices.

Been here many times and always had a great time staff are lovely and there are 2 stages. This time we came to see the ignite school production which was fab! So many budding young actors who we had pleasure of seeing b4 they hit the big time! Well done to everyone involved xx

Excellent programme of events throughout the year. Quality performances from top tribute artists. Charges are reasonable and discounts are available for regular supporters.<br>The only critical observation I would make is that during several performances the sound level was very high in excess of 90db (measured). In fairness this issue is not unique to the Garrick as I have witnessed bands at other venues performing with similar excessively high volume levels.
