Having been with Saga for 4 years, this year the renewal price had increased by over 23% which I thought unacceptable, i did phone and ask if they would improve the price but they offered a very minor reduction blaming market forces and all insurance had increased. Decided time to do a comparison via GoCompare and went to Rightsure as they seem to offer competitive price and cover.
Got an Email next day saying they were doing a data check which caused me some concern, but phoned them and asked to be put through to George. I initial spoke to one of his colleagues but decided to hold and was put through to George within about 2 minutes, so not a long wait. He put me at ease and went through the data validation questions with myself and my wife. All pretty straight forward really. George was professional and courteous.
In summary, It was nice to be able to call an insurance company and not get some automated waffle that goes on for ages or be told "you call is important to us you are number blah blah in the queue, which goes on for ages before you actually got top speak to an actual person, at which point I would have nodded off anyway.

Car still running sweet 3 years on since Matt and his guys did all the work on it including selling me the engine, fitting it, making all the pipework for flipped inlet, wrapping & fitting headers and exhaust, fabricating a catch can etc etc etc there was a lot of work and he was always there for any questions and concerns I had, also sorting some butchers work that I'd had done previously in Blackburn no names mentioned, guys here are literally OCD with everything, I was excited after getting all my fast bits on but they wouldn't let me take car until it was all spot on, checked, double checked and triple checked, even had it mapped through Andrew Carr here too who's another guy at top of his game, running a nice 507hp hasn't missed a beat, also bought parts off him always as described you cannot fault these guys, it's my number one choice for everything subaru, cheers guys
