We had an Executive Pitch View room this time and were delighted with our choice. Although the shutters are down during the match when they are re-opened it was wonderful to sit and admire the pitch and stands. We had a double room with superb quality bed abd bedding. The standard of cleamliness was faultless. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast with ample choices of everything. The staff were quietly efficient and friendly too. We will be back again.

A very good stay, staff are exceptional, hotel looking a little tired but spotlessly clean, perhaps think about having breakfast on the retail park as this is an area which could be improved. An excellent venue for taking in football, shops cinema and a variety of restaurants.

One of the nicest hotels I’ve been to in the area. Staff are lovely and it’s nice and spacious. Rooms are a good size and well equipped. Sauna and steam could be improved but nice and hot. Didn’t go into gym. Breakfast had a variety and suitable for all

We decided to book a family pitch view room for the bolton v ipswitch game for our sons 17th birthday and we were delighted with the room. Plenty of space for the 4 of us and had a great view of the game. We would definitely use this room again....

Great staff, even better food and drink. Room was cold due to having no heating but overall a great place to stay. Great view of the pitch from the room. Great value for what i paid. Just needs to add better heating to some of the rooms.

good hotel in the right location , easy parking in front of hotel .my advice would be to ensure you and your guests fully agree room rates when checking in or in advance .Most Guests were ok but a bit of confusion when checking in and out especially over breakfast being included or not or there is a charge

Stayed here for just one night whilst attending a birthday party at the Macron stadium. We had the option to book the premier inn directly accross the road from the venue or booking this hotel which we believed we could access the venue directly. First impressions of the hotel were positive and it boasts an impressive reception area. Staff were friendly and we was checked in quickly. First impression of our room was ok probably on a par with what we would expect from a premier Inn with the bathroom looking a little tired but ok or so we thought until we used the shower which had a leak leaving the floor wet through and had to be mopped up with our towels, we did report this on leaving the next morning and hopefully this would be sorted before the room was used again. We met other party guests in the bar and was shocked at the prices withe the cost of a Gin and Tonic at £8, wasn't even served nicely infact it was served in a straight glass as per the one in the bathroom which i put my toothbrush in. Whilst we know hotel bars are usually more expensive we felt this was extortionate and if your going to charge these prices at least present it well. The other downside was there is no automatic way through to the venue from the hotel although to their credit the staff did chaperone us through the hotel both to the party and back without any fuss. Our sleep in this hotel was also disappointing, the bed was rock hard and pillows no spring at all and most uncomfotable. Not quite sure what i feel about this hotel. First impressions good, staff lovely, breakfast lovely and to be fair price we paid for the room including breakfast good too. But even with all those positives including a great party the night before i left feeling decidedly underwhelmed and glad i wasn't staying any longer. Think its the hotels attention to detail particularly in the rooms which maybe the cause of my apathy to this venue.
