Located perfectly for my business trip. Freindly professional staff were on hand during my stay. My room looked onto the Football pitch (Macron stadium) which is a great sight especially waking up in the morning. I ate in the Bar which was a nice environment. The room amenities were good, everything I needed.
I would recommend the Hotel.

Overall, if we visited this area again we would stay at Bolton Whites Hotel as we found it very clean, tidy and the staff were very helpful. The food was lovely too! We didn't get time to visit the pool etc but looked very nice in the pictures on the website.

Amazing staff and a very clean hotel. Stayed for a night for my 3 year anniversary and I wish I had stayed longer. The view of the pitch from my room was amazing and the facilities were excellent. Will definitely be going again and would reccomend for any type of stay.

Great facilities, helpful front desk. Easy access to train station and shops. Rooms were of a good size, ours had a bit of a cleaning detergent smell but not a big deal. Really neat being attached to the stadium.

I stayed here for two nights and found it to be an excellent, top-class hotel with all possible amenities and very high standards of cleanliness and service.
What really made it stand out was the view which opened onto the interior of the Macron Stadium. It was quite diverting to sit and watch the various teams training.
Also, even though the hotel is only a hundred yards from a very busy traffic interchange, the position of the room, looking into the stadium made it incredibly quiet. I slept like a log.
The breakfasts were excellent, although I didn't try out their restaurant as the hotel is situated a few minutes from a retail park with a plethora of good food establishments.

Built into the stadium plenty of parking handy for a range of restaurant's and shops.currently undergoing some renovations. Rooms are comfortable and spacious.not sure what it would be like on game day.

Arrived at hotel, staff efficient and attentive. Our allocated room looked over the Bolton Wanderers Football Ground which was great! The room was warm and very comfortable. Continental breakfast followed by a cooked breakfast was lovely.

Very nicely equipped modern hotel. Great value food and refreshments. The penthouse suites are individually designed and well worth paying extra for. A great place to relax for a weekend whether you are a football fan or not.

I stayed at this hotel on business and I wasn't impressed to start with. When I cam to check out though I realised it was only £70 for the night so that changed my view. For £70 it was actually quite good.

+ Lots of parking

+ Wifi was good

+ Room was basic but I had a really good nights sleep so can't complain.

+Breakfast was good for the price.

+ Black out curtains (not 100% but very good darkness!)

- Bathroom was clean but did need updating. It did seem grubby but more of an age thing than not being cleaned properly. The plug hole in the sink was not pleasant but it had clearly been cleaned well. There just becomes a point where an update is the only option.

- I got up at 5.30 to visit the gym before I had to work. There is a door next to reception to the gym which was locked. I got told by the guy on reception that it doesn't open until 6am and that the person working there would be in at 6. No problem. I went back down at 6.05 and the gym guy was on reception. I asked if the gym was open and he just asked me to write my name on a sheet of paper which was on reception and then I could go in. This annoyed me because if there's no need for tsomeone to be in the gym why not just leave it open! It's non good a receptionist telling me to wait for someone else to come in who is also going to stand behind reception - might as well just leave it open all the time.

- Gym was awful. It was tiny, roasting hot and old. But it was only £70 a night so it's not that bad.

- Rubbish iron. Looked like it should have been in a museum.

Overall a decent hotel for the price. I wouldn't want to pay any more and certainly wouldn't take the misses there unless I wanted a divorce but it was no problem for me.

This looks quite grand from the outside and from online photos, and I suppose that consequently gave me high expectations.

I suppose most people come here for the football. They'll probably be very happy. For us, it's just a hotel, which is good, but not quite up to those high expectations. Judging by the other reviews here, that's a general experience although you get the odd bad experience - which can happen anywhere.

The room was fine - well equipped.

Unusually for us, we didn't need any wifi, so I can't comment on whether it was good or not.

The leisure club is also well equipped although the gym was rather small - with a lot of different things in a small space. I think given the sports nature of the hotel I might have expected a rather larger leisure club. It was fine for an overnight, but I wouldn't join as a member if I lived locally.

Breakfast is ok - again - not great. Nothing wrong, but you might expect a little more choice from the buffet. A good view from the restaurant over the football pitch which is probably enough excitement if you're into that sort of thing.

It's over seven floors, and therefore the lifts are quite important. They have two lifts which are rather slow.
