I recently stayed here with a group from the Northern Ireland Transplant Sport team.
From the minute we arrived (never quietly!) The Staff were fantastic! From front of house through to housekeeping, nothing was too much trouble for anyone.
A really lovely hotel with great facilities,pool/jacuzzi/great gym etc...
The breakfasts every morning were absolutely yummy, everything on buffet topped up regularly, so no dried out bacon, the chef even poached eggs on request, even though there were both fried and scrambled already out.
The front of house receptionists even printed most of our boarding passes out for us too as we were leaving! :-)
No hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone. Just great!

We got married in the LOV suite at the newly named Macron Stadium and stayed in the penthouse suites in the Bolton Whites hotel.

Check in process was very quick and easy - I was a little apprehensive as I'd booked the rooms when it was De Vere before the take over but there were no dramas.

The Pure bar might be seen as a little pricey compared to pubs but as far as hotel prices go, they are reasonable. The Burnden Trophy bitter is a very nice pint too.

The staff in the hotel are always as polite and professional as you would expect from a 4* hotel, nothing was too much trouble.

The room itself was superb, large bathroom and large & comfy queensize bed. The lounge area was also as large and comfy as it needed to be. Granted the penthouse rooms didn't have a pitch view but I was aware of this beforehand and it wasn't an issue.

I live fairly locally to the hotel so unless I'm going to function, I don't have much cause to stay there but I would have no hesitation whatsoever in staying here again, everything about it is quality and value for money

Stayed here for 4 nights as a team manager for the British Transplant Games. The hotel is great, very clean and good food. The WiFi is free and the much moaned about old style tv's have been replaced !.
Parking is plentiful and free and there are a host of shops and restaurants in the mall next door within 5 minutes walk.
The room itself was well equipped with a generous refreshment tray and the bed had the most comfortable mattress i have slept on in years.
The staff could not be faulted, friendly and efficient.in all respects.
Special mention for the bar and restaurant manager who allowed our little group to order from the bar menu but sit in the restaurant as they were quiet. Not only that but he sent various desserts through for us to try all free of charge.I think the chef was using us as guinea pigs !

Breakfast is self service buffet style and very nice.Plenty of choice, all replenished quickly and piping hot.

I would definitely stay here again, one of the most pleasant hotels i have stayed in for a good while.

Good Hotel, Good Value, I'd definitely recommend pitch view rooms. Nice modern rooms, deluxe suite had plenty of room for the three of us (my wife, 2 year old and I). Staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was decent enough; Fry up, continental and some fruit salad options. Good facilities nearby I would use this hotel again.

Hotel is pleasant enough, I think four stars is quite a generous assessment for it, having said that our stay was fine.
The hotel room was basic but suited out two night stay.
The shower was good, one towel for two people wasn't Adequate enough and we had to ask cleaning a staff to replace towels the following day. Our room did not get cleaned in between so our coffee, tea, milk etc wasn't replenished: it would have been a nice touch.
We used the pool (very cold), sauna and steam room, it was a nice area.
We used the coffee shop which was fine and the bar- standard hotel prices.
The breakfast was nice - we only had it one day, but it was well cooked, pastries were nice too.
Overall the hotel didn't wow us but it was a perfectly fine stay.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome. Hotel is in a fantastic place and is a easy commute to most places.

The room was good and the bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in.

Breakfast was also of a high quality with a range to choice from.

Will defiantly recommend this hotel to anyone staying within the area.

5**'s all round

Stayed here over the August Bank Holiday weekend while visiting family in the area and felt really glad that we had chosen this hotel. It is a truly beautiful hotel with customer service that is out of this world. We have been in three different rooms during our two- night stay. First we requested to be moved to a room with a view on the pitch- no problem, they gave us one straight away. Unfortunately the air-con did not work here and was uncomfortably cold, and as lucky as we are, all other rooms with a pitch- view had been taken that night. Never mind, they had an even nicer and bigger room for us with the heating working in it. Will have a pitch- view room next time we are visiting! Now that we have seen three different rooms during our stay I can confidently declare it is a very clean hotel BUT I was disappointed to have found a stained towel in one of the bathrooms. Definitely not a good experience especially when truly everything else is up to scratch. We tried the leisure facilities, I can recommend them too. Will not stay anywhere else but here next time we are in the area, hopefully with not a stained towel in sight!

What a lovely clean and freindly hotel the only trouble was that we were on a trip with national holidays and we went to coronation street and did not arrive at the hotel untill abot 8.15pm and we had been told that the hotel did not have any eveing meals for us as it was to late in the evening ,but when we looked at the hotel restrant times when we got to are rooms we did see that the restrant was open until 10pm so we did not know why we could not have any food until breakfast after all we did pay for a eveing meal, I have health problems and did need to eat so that I could take my tablets, but we did survive until mornig with out or meal ,but the good nights sleep we had in our lovely room was fine. And the next morning we went down to a lovely breakfast and nice pleasent staff, and when we left the man on reception was very helpful and freindly ,we would stay there again.

Stayed here for 2 nights with work and overall represented pretty good value at £60 per night

Rooms are plenty big enough, bathroom clean free wifi, cleaned each day.

Bar food was excellent and decent value. Had burger 1st night and pie 2nd which was massive. Quality was good.

Breakfast was good without being great. Spa looked nice although didn't use.

I guess with competing premier inn across the road then prices need to be competitive

Overall would stay here again
