convenience - attending party at wanderers suite
not being able to access the wanderers suite internally - had 94 year old with us and was quite a walk. had wrongly assumed was all the same premises - or interlinked. also disappointed about breakfast restrictions. the online menus suggested individual items could be ordered so we could just have tea and toast but on entry was advised it was full buffet at £12 only so went without. none of us have appetite to warrant that amount of spend.

Good location, reception staff very efficient
Pillows were uncomfortable, spot light out & no ventilation in the bathroom. Window nets need replacing/re-hanging.

Great place to stay if you're in Bolton
We booked a pitch view room, as the concept intrigued me and we were not disappointed. Overlooking the goal post, we had a full view of the ground, there was no match on and I am not a football fan, we were there for a charity event, but even for the none footy people it's a great concept. The room its self was good, comfy bed with all the expected in room facilities. Bath / Shower / Hairdryer, etc. The hotel is lovely, great reception staff. We had a bite to eat in the bar and the food was lovely.

Stayed at the hotel a few years ago, well before Covid, hotel seems tired. Comfortable and clean though and friendly staff. Well located just off the motorway.
Intermittent wifi in the room, no matter what I tried, be it the hotel wifi or various hotspots. Staff acknowledged it was a problem
