Opening today (Friday, 24th October), British high-performance sportswear brand Castore becomes the latest store launch at Clarks Village, joining new local venture The Handmade Boutique, which showcases 40 independent businesses.

Founded in Liverpool by former athletes and brothers Tom and Phil Beahon, Castore’s portfolio includes official kit and fanwear collections for McLaren Formula 1 Racing Team, Oracle Red Bull Racing, England Cricket, and Harlequins Rugby, alongside its own men’s, women’s and junior lines that combine innovation, comfort and style for both sport and everyday wear.

Located in the Apple Court mall of Clarks Village, next to Trespass and Saltrock, Castore enhances the outlet’s offering of sporting and lifestyle brands.

Also new to Clarks Village is award-winning venture The Handmade Boutique, a dedicated space supporting local small businesses and entrepreneurs.

The new pop-up store, a sister to its main shop on Taunton High Street, is located close to the Central Square Gardens at Clarks Village, and will feature up to 40 producers, crafters, and artists. Its offering includes handcrafted gifts, chocolate, clothing, jewellery, hand-stamped keyrings, painted glass, cushions, candles, and home scents – plus eco-friendly gift wrapping and Christmas decorations.

Rebecca Fenner Company Director and advocate for small businesses said: “The Handmade Boutique is a space for crafters to express their creativity. Everything is locally produced, handmade and unique with designers and crafters running the store as well as stocking their items in it.

“We have previously had market stalls at Clarks Village and love how they continue to support small businesses. We have been keen to have a shop space since starting these markets many years ago.”
