It is a well known and much loved and appreciated Hospice. The doctors and nurses are so caring and kind and every patient gets the most wonderful care in a lovely environment. The hospice raises the majority of it's own funding every single year.

Nightingale House Hospice provides specialist palliative care services, completely free of charge to patients and their families across North East Wales who are living with the effects of a life limiting illness. The hospice also offers bereavement support services to families and also children up to the age of 18 even if they have no prior connection to the hospice. In July 2013, Janet F said about Wrexham Town Trails
A great evening event - Phil our guide really knows his stuff! The walk around Wrexham town centre was very informative, presented well with a good sense of humour thrown in. It was great to talk about areas of the town that you sometimes pass without even realising what has gone on there in the past. Some of our group - particularly those who were not originally from the area - gained a lot of interesting facts and Phil is obviously a very knowledgeable guide. I never knew how important Wrexham was in the development of local history and industry and I think a lot of local people and pupils from local schools - would get a lot out of going on one of these walking trails.

Dear Phil
Thank you for giving us lots of information on the tour of Wrexham. When I first came to Wrexham I thought it was just a shopping tow, now i know it is a market town. the best bit of the tour was looking at St Giles church. I thought the grave was fascinating too. I really enjoyed going into the church and seeing angels indide the roof. I also looked at the church clock. I thought that was amazing too. I really enjoyed the trip.

In April 2010, Allan S said about Quality Acoustics Sound Services
Froncysyllte Male Voice Choir has engaged the services of John Jones as Sound Engineer on a few occasions in the past two to three years. Each occasion has been for a concert event involving the choir and a brass band or ensemble.

We have always found Mr Jones to be extremely professional and knowledgeable in the service he provides, whilst also being conscientious, helpful and amicable.

We would certainly consider hiring his services again should the need arise.

In February 2012, Jan J said about Alyn Lodge Bed and Breakfast
I stayed at Alyn Lodge during a three day training event. The food was excellent, nutritious and tasty. The staff were really friendly and attentive.I have quite a few food sensitivities which were catered for with confidence and care( the staff even went so far as making me a loaf of wheat free bread!).
The room was clean, comfortable and warm. There`s an ambiance about this establishment which I feel originates from the caring and sensitive attitude of the staff.
The lodge is located around places of archaeological interest, and although fairly close to a B road , there`s plenty of wildlife around.
I would highly recommend Alyn Lodge to anyone who appreciates comfort and sincere hospitality.
