Flower Festival to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of St Andrew's Methodist Church, Worcester
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of St Andrew's Methodist Church in Pump Street, Worcester, a band of talented flower arrangers and church members are mounting a wonderful floral display over three floors of this iconic 60s building.   The theme of the displays are some of the landmark events of previous decades, including Concorde's first flight, flower power, Band Aid, Olympic Games and the Queen's Diamond Jubilee - all interpreted in seasonal flowers and fauna.   Visitors can climb the stairs past the three-storey stained-glass window or take the lift for a less strenuous way between floors to see the displays. Also, refreshments will be  available each day of the festival - Methodists are renowned for their hospitality!   The flower festival is open each day between 10.00 am and 4.00 pm, except on Sunday 24 June when the displays will be open at 12 noon following the 10.30 am morning service.   Entry is by programme: cost £2.00   Registered Charity No: 1128272
