DRINKERS will be raising their glasses at the fourth Belbroughton Beer Festival this weekend.

The village event kicks off on Saturday September 18 on the school fields at Belbroughton Primary School, Bradford Lane.

Presenting over 60 real ales and ciders, a wine bar, hot food and live music, Just Bev will get the festival off to a rocking start at noon with barrels of fun up until 11pm.

There will also be guest appearances from Bromsgrove’s Famous Five, The Secret Cabaret, a new four-piece band from Kidderminster, and The Busby Babes who are this year’s headline act.

Two unique brews, the Belbroughton Scythe Maker and Scarecrow Bitter, have been made especially for the event by Sadler’s Brewery.

Admission is £10 with the beer kit which includes a commemorative glass, programme and £5 of beer tokens.

Organised by the school’s Parent Teacher Association and assisted by the Redditch and Bromsgrove Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) group, all money raised from the festival will go to Belbroughton Primary School with a contribution to a local charity.
