From 6 December to 23 December, selected city centre car parks will offer free parking all day on weekends and after 3pm on weekdays.
This welcome initiative aims to encourage shoppers, support local shops, and give a boost to the city’s bustling economy during the busiest time of the year. With unique boutiques, popular high-street stores, cosy cafés and a thriving evening scene, Wolverhampton is set to shine this winter.
Free parking will be available at these council car parks:
Temple Street
Tempest Street
Peel Street
School Street
St George’s Parade
In addition, the Fold Street car park will offer free parking on weekdays after 3pm until 23 December.
Plus, the popular Broad Street car park remains free from 5pm to 5am daily until early January 2026, after which a flat evening rate will be introduced.
