Wolverhampton`s premeir spoken word event is back - Words of Wisdom - at the Swan Pub, 17 Lower Street, Wolverhampton WV6 9AA.
"Artists can only talk or sing about positive, inspirational or motivational topics" said Wolverhampton spoken word artist Bones, who has previously performed at the Wolverhampton Literature Festival and the Wolverhampton Art Gallery. "We want things that are relevant and empowering".
The event is organised by FIWI Productions (Forget Individuality & Welcome Inseparability).
"Knowledge speaks but wisdom listens" said Bones who appeared in the MENTALK documentary which was part of the "Recovery for Everyone" organised by the Good Shepherd Services during Recovery Month last September with the University of Wolverhampton and Wolverhampton 360. The film MENTALK was made by Wolverhampton film maker Graham Everitt and premiered in Wolverhampton Art Gallery.
Expect powerful poetry, deep poetry, fun poetry, lyrical poetry and Bones as the host on fire with lyrical flowing wisdoms.
Expect spoken word, poetry and music - a night fuelled with inspiration and enthusiasm.
