Bilston Indoor and Outdoor Markets, Wednesfield and Wolverhampton City Centre Markets will be open as normal with free parking around Bilston and Wednesfield Town Centre.

Following the Government’s announcement last week of a second lockdown residents in Wolverhampton will still be able to purchase essential items from the city’s markets.

The essential stalls/products that will be available at all our market locations are: Butchers, deli, fishmonger, baker (cakes, bread and pastries), fruit and veg, confectionary, hardware and cleaning products.

For residents unable to visit their local market there are several stalls once again offering a telephone/online order service. Check out ‘The Marketplace’ or the stall’s social media pages on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram for more information.

Councillor Steve Evans, Cabinet Member for City Environment, said: “The markets are vital part of Wolverhampton with a range of products available, we are glad that they have been able to remain open for residents to purchase what they need in a safe way.

“I would like to remind visitors that social distancing measure are of upmost importance during this time and that visitors to the markets remember, ‘Hands, Face, Space’, to ensure the safety of themselves, others, stall holders and staff onsite.”

Market opening times are:

Bilston Market (indoor and outdoor)

Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

Wednesfield Market

Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday - 8am to 3.30pm
