To mark Baby Loss Awareness Week, Walsh Funerals & Memorials is proud to launch its 2026 Little Angels campaign, continuing its commitment to supporting families who have experienced the devastating loss of a baby or child.
As a family-run funeral director and memorial mason, We understands that losing a child is a heartbreak no family should have to face. For many parents, creating a lasting memorial is an important part of remembering their little one, providing a special place to visit, reflect and keep their memory alive. However, the financial cost of a memorial can add further pressure to families already navigating unimaginable grief.
Through the Little Angels campaign, We aims to ease some of that burden by offering free headstones to families who are unable to afford one. The initiative reflects our company's belief that every child deserves to be remembered, and every family should have the opportunity to create a meaningful tribute, regardless of their financial circumstances.
Families who know someone who could benefit from the campaign are encouraged to submit a nomination through the Little Angels Facebook page. This provides an opportunity for the community to come together and help ensure that families who need support are made aware of the assistance available.
Baby Loss Awareness Week provides an important opportunity to raise awareness, remember the babies and children who are no longer with us, and acknowledge the lasting impact of loss on parents, siblings and wider families. It also highlights the importance of compassion, understanding and practical support during some of life's most difficult moments.
For us, the Little Angels campaign is about more than memorials. It is about recognising that every little life matters, every family deserves compassion, and every child deserves a lasting place in the hearts and memories of those who love them.
Through this year's campaign, Walsh Funerals & Memorials hopes to reach more families who may otherwise be unable to afford a memorial, ensuring that financial circumstances do not prevent them from creating a lasting tribute to their little angel.
Together, we hope we can help more families remember, honour and celebrate the little lives that will never be forgotten.
