Union Fasteners Ltd is incredibly proud to have been recognised among the region’s leading manufacturers, having been shortlisted for three categories at this year’s Made in the Midlands Awards: Engineering Manufacturer of the Year, Export Award, and Manufacturer of the Year (under £25m turnover).
The awards celebrate the most innovative, dynamic and successful manufacturing businesses across the Midlands region, recognising excellence across engineering, export performance, investment and operational leadership.
Being shortlisted in not one, but three highly competitive categories is a huge achievement, and reflects what has been an intense and transformative period for Union Fasteners. Over the last number of years, the business has made significant strategic investments, including over £250,000 in advanced CNC machinery, strengthening its in-house manufacturing capability and enabling the production of increasingly complex, high-precision components.
Alongside this investment, Union Fasteners has continued to focus on innovation and process improvement, streamlining operations through data-led systems and strengthening production efficiency. These developments have supported the company’s growth as a trusted supplier of bespoke, safety-critical fasteners to customers across the globe.
Today, Union Fasteners supplies customers in over 24 countries, supporting industries ranging from offshore wind and oil and gas to defence and infrastructure. This global reach is underpinned by a commitment to quality, traceability and responsiveness, with approximately 90% of components manufactured in-house at its Black Country facility.
We’re looking forward to attending the awards ceremony on 23rd April 2026 and excited to see how we perform alongside such strong competition.
