Supplied by Revival Solutions Group through Renault Truck Commercials on a three-year agreement, the sleeper-cab tractors come equipped with mirror cameras, telematics and full Direct Vision Standard compliance.

The West Midlands operator made the switch after trialing a demonstrator T tractor for two weeks and reviewing its performance and fuel figures. Joe Law, strategic development director at Total Group, said Renault Trucks' fuel efficiency, pulling capability and the quality of data provided through the RT Optifleet fleet-management system were key factors in the decision.

The Renaults will operate from Wolverhampton and Cannock, supporting the company’s reinforcement manufacturing and processing operations. Law said the new additions form part of a wider drive to cut emissions and optimise vehicle routing, with further investment in electric vehicles planned.

Total Group specialises in reinforcement solutions for high-load and high-traffic applications in logistics, warehousing and industrial construction. Renault Truck Commercials’ transport solutions executive Joe Laugharne said the deal followed close collaboration to understand Total Group’s requirements, noting it marks the operator’s first move away from its previous DAF and MAN fleet.

Alongside the two new trucks, Revival Solutions Group is providing a T on spot hire to give the business additional flexibility during peak periods.
