The review is offered by The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust's Health Visiting Service as part of the 0-19 Healthy Child Programme. In Wolverhampton, it takes place in one of the city's 8 Family Hubs, or as part of a home visit for some families, typically when a child is between 2 and 2½ years old.

It focuses on the child’s health and development, helps identify any additional needs, and provides an opportunity for parents and carers to ask questions or raise any concerns.

The City of Wolverhampton Council and The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust want to hear from parents and carers in Wolverhampton who have taken their child for the review in the last 6 months, to help improve access to, and engagement with, the service.

Councillor Obaida Ahmed, Cabinet Member for Health, Wellbeing and Community, said: "We want to ensure as many children as possible receive their developmental review when it is due, so we want to remove any barriers that parents or carers may face in attending it.

"The survey will ask you a few short questions, including about how easy it was to access, how useful you found the review, and ideas for improving the overall experience, and should only take around 5 minutes to complete, so please have your say."
