Just few days to go until Wolverhampton Literature Festival will be marking the beauty of arts, featuring books, performances, workshops, and exhibitions of work by local artist.

Cheerful, humble, and happy, Simona Prilogan is ready to mark the releasing day of her precious poetry collection, by joining Wolverhampton artists at the award-winning poet and playwright Ian Henery’s  joint event with 101.8 WCR FM, at Mander Centre Community Hub, Friday, the 3rd February.

Simona is a radiographer by day and a storyteller by night, writing in both, Romanian and English. By day, she is taking x-rays to the human body, whilst by night, she is doing radiographies to the thoughts, ideas, and meanings.

As an expat, Simona is considering herself a world citizen, having her roots in the Transylvanian land while her heart and mind’s branches are rounding in huge circles around the world’s visions.

In 2019, Simona joined some of Nottingham’s writers being co-author in 2 book anthologies, Writing Like a Girl Anthology and World Jam Anthology.

In 2021 Simona contributed to a third UK book anthology, Us Versus Virus.

Simona’s English writing could be read online at Spillwords Press NY, Harness Magazine, Gobblers & Masticadores, and her personal blog, Dum spiro, spero.

Envisioning earth’s space
In colours of the grace,
Through joy penning the dare,
Through tears showing the care,
In unique world we share,
Togetherness’ embrace.
