Lawrence Cleaning Solutions has announced the retirement of its long-serving Sales Director, Deb Lawrence, following decades of outstanding service and leadership within the family business.

Her retirement was celebrated recently with a party for friends, family, and colleagues at the Lamp Tavern in Dudley. Deb has been a cornerstone of Lawrence Cleaning Solutions for many years, playing an instrumental role in shaping the business into what it is today.

Although stepping back from her day-to-day duties, Deb will not be leaving the business entirely. She will transition to a one-day-per-week role, continuing to support the company's marketing efforts and serving as a brand ambassador - holding onto the parts of the job she is most passionate about.

Managing Director Alex Lawrence said: "Deb has been our true ambassador - if there's networking to be done, she's there. She goes into schools to run mock interviews for the kids, works closely with the job centre, and partners with our marketing team at Impress PR. Community engagement and sponsorships have always been close to her heart, and I'm glad she's chosen to hold on to the parts of the job she loves most. She'll be moving to one day a week, and while that's a big change for all of us, no one deserves it more than she does."

The depth of Deb's impact extends well beyond her professional achievements. Contracts Manager Carole Lowe, said: “I've worked alongside Deb for 14 years, and in that time she's become far more than a colleague - she's family. When I retired, I lasted just a few weeks before I came back. I missed everyone too much, and I knew almost straight away that leaving had been a mistake. But what I'll never forget is the day my husband died. I called, and Deb and Paul were at my door almost immediately. They stood by me through the hardest time of my life. That kind of kindness stays with you forever."

Deb hopes to spend her free days travelling and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Company Founder Winnie Lawrence added: "Deb has been our daughter-in-law for over 30 years, and she is simply wonderful - we love her dearly. She's played such a huge part in helping this business become what it is today. I started it all those years ago because I loved cleaning, and since I stepped back, it's been a joy to watch her and the team grow Lawrence Cleaning and open up new doors. She has earned every moment of this retirement. And she will always, always be our daughter."
