Prom Night, Halloween & Children in Need - 2 Salons, same name and one big success! K2 Hair Design have a great year so far!!

In the Perton Salon - July 09 – we arranged to help all those school leavers with their prom night hair and had a brilliant night. The girls started arriving at 3 pm and we had snacks and drinks available to let them start there night off well, and they left with a fabulous goody bag with lots of treats in for the night ahead.

A range of styles were wanted that night but mostly we curled and added sparkles to the hair so they all looked very natural. A few girls had their hair up and looked very stylish. I only wish I could have seen them in their dresses ripping up the dance floor.

We had all staff on board for this night and after the girls had flown the nest to dance the night away, we discussed that the evening went very well and we would defiantly be putting on more nights like that one, so look out for the posters in your school/common rooms or come and speak to a member of staff in the salons. (Remember £5 voucher is available for all new clients attending either salon)

Later on in the year we have had various days / evenings for events.

One being our pink/scary hair day for breakthrough breast cancer. We raised £150 in one day with cake sales, raffles and scary Halloween. Congratulations to JO THOMPSON from the estate for winning the big cuddly teddy bear in the raffle. As event was delivered on Sat 31st Oct, we decided to do a promotion for all the children coming into that salon before going trick or treating, to have their hair styled and coloured for the night. We had a range of greens, reds, greys and oranges all going into the hair that had been backcombed, hair sprayed and looked horridly sticky, but we can guarantee they had a great night.

Next was our raffle for Children in Need. The previous week to the event we sold raffle tickets for a pair of limited edition pair of GHD straightner's, congratulations to JENNY YEOMANS from the estate on winning them. This went down very well in the community as so close to Christmas, they would make a lovely present for someone, or even themselves. Also that day the staff at the Perton salon dressed in their pyjamas for the day, bet they were a bit more comfortable than normal and sold more raffle tickets out in the centre and in the salon. In total for children in need, we raised £300 and had a fabulous day to boot.

I am sure for the remainder of the year we will be adding a lot more accomplishments to this list but in 6 months I don’t think we have done that bad.

In the Codsall Salon - We have had a very busy 6 months at this salon.

We have re vamped the salon inside and out to deliver a better service to our customers.

You will notice that the name has changed; this is to bring the salon into the 21st century along with our competitors. A new sign has made all the difference to make the salon stand out again and draw in new clients to our fabulous design team.

Inside we have decorated the salon and installed new chairs to make the experience more comfortable.

We are currently making more alterations but these will resume in the New Year so as not to disrupt anyone’s visit to us.

Along with the salons, our team has had some brilliant training this year. We have taken courses in a new highlighting system, proven to give the most natural, but conditioned looking highlights in the business, and we all love the result you get, just ask in salon for more details.
