On Saturday, June 14th, Paul Thompson took on the gruelling Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge in support of Compton Care and The Wolves Foundation—and what a challenge it was!

Covering over 25.5 miles and clocking up 59,617 steps, Paul tackled the peaks of Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough in under 13 hours. Battling steep climbs, unpredictable weather, and sheer physical exhaustion, Paul completed the trek with determination and heart.

Thanks to his efforts and the generosity of supporters, Paul raised an incredible £895, contributing to a staggering group total of £16,310.

The funds raised will have a tangible impact:

• Compton Care will use the donations to fund two weeks of its Virtual Ward service, which allows patients with complex needs to receive specialist care in the comfort of their own homes.

• The Wolves Foundation will be able to support eight young people with disabilities to play competitive football in a league format—something that builds confidence, teamwork, and joy.

Paul said, “It was one of the toughest physical challenges I’ve ever done, but knowing the difference the money makes kept me going. I’m proud to have walked alongside so many people doing it for such meaningful causes.”
