Celebrating Our Christmas STEM Competition Individual Winner.

We’re delighted to announce the Individual Winner of our Christmas STEM Competition and to celebrate the creativity, curiosity and scientific thinking shown throughout the challenge. This year’s theme, Build a Santa STEM Sleigh, invited primary-aged children across Birmingham and the Black Country to design and build a sleigh using recyclable materials that could move, slide or roll.

The standard of entries was exceptional, with children demonstrating imagination, problem-solving and a real enthusiasm for hands-on science. Our winning entry stood out for its originality, thoughtful design and clear understanding of scientific principles.

It was a fantastic example of how creativity and STEM learning can come together in a fun, accessible way. Congratulations to our winner on a brilliant achievement. At Junior Einsteins Birmingham, competitions like this reflect what we aim to do every day: inspire children to explore science through practical, engaging experiences.

Alongside our competitions, we deliver science parties, school workshops, holiday camps and enrichment sessions, working closely with schools, families and community partners across the region.

We’d like to thank everyone who took part, from the children who built and tested their sleighs to the parents and teachers who supported them. Seeing young learners excited about science is always the highlight of our work.

We look forward to running more hands-on STEM activities in the future and continuing to support children in building confidence, curiosity and a love of learning through science.
